Precision Tooling & Mold Manufacturing
With over 20 years of experience, QQS specializes in the design and manufacture of precision plastic injection molds for consumer electronics, smart wearables, medical devices, home appliances, sanitary products and other demanding applications.
From mold design and DFM review to tooling trials, sample validation and production approval, our engineering team works to ensure that each mold meets the agreed technical requirements and supports stable, repeatable production.
Every project is managed by a dedicated project engineer, providing clear communication, regular progress updates and technical support from tooling kickoff through mold approval and mass production.
Our engineering philosophy is simple: precision, reliability and controlled production quality.
Our Commitment
Dedicated project management for each tooling project
Design review and DFM support to identify potential manufacturing issues before mold making
Structured tooling trials and validation to evaluate mold performance and molded-part quality
Transparent communication throughout development, with progress updates at key milestones
Production transition support to help move approved molds into stable injection molding operations
Premium Mold Standards
We select internationally recognized mold components and materials according to project requirements to support mold durability, dimensional stability and reliable production.
Mold Steel: ASSAB, Daido, Finkl, Aubert, Thyssen, LKM
Mold Base: HASCO, DME, FUTABA, LKM
Hot Runner: Mold-Masters, Synventive, HASCO, YUDO, Mould Tip
Standard Components: HASCO, DME, STRACK, LKM
Surface Texture: VDI 3400, Mold-Tech, Yick Sang
Material grades, component specifications and surface finishes are selected according to the part design, resin, expected production volume and customer requirements.
In-house Precision Tool Shop

Our tooling operations are supported by in-house machining, mold assembly and inspection capabilities, using equipment sourced from Swiss, Japan, Germany and Taiwan.
Our equipment and processes include:
High-speed CNC machining centers
Mirror-finish EDM
Wire EDM (WEDM)
Precision grinding
CMM dimensional inspection
In-process quality inspection
By keeping key machining, inspection and mold assembly processes under one roof, we maintain closer control over tooling quality, engineering changes and project coordination.
Tooling Validation & Quality Control
At QQS, mold quality is verified through defined trial, inspection and approval stages rather than relying on machining completion alone.
Our tooling validation process can include:
Design review and DFM: Review part geometry, tooling feasibility and potential molding risks before manufacturing.
T1/T2 mold trials: Evaluate mold operation and molded samples, identify issues and verify improvements across trial stages.
Dimensional inspection: Check critical part dimensions against approved drawings and specifications.
Sample evaluation and approval: Review sample quality with the customer and address outstanding issues before approval.
Process parameter control: After successful validation, document and lock agreed molding parameters where applicable to help maintain consistency during production.
The specific validation scope and acceptance criteria are agreed according to each project's requirements.
From Tooling to Mass Production
Our tooling team works closely with injection molding and assembly teams to consider production requirements from the early design stage. This integrated approach helps identify manufacturability issues earlier and supports a smoother transition from mold trials to mass production.
Beyond mold manufacturing, QQS can also support plastic injection molding, PCBA/SMT and product assembly for projects requiring broader OEM/ODM manufacturing cooperation.
Our objective is to deliver tooling that meets agreed requirements and supports stable, repeatable production throughout its intended service life.
